Meeting XIII, Thursday 1 March, 2pm
After all the excitements this day has provided to all of us at King’s (look out for reports on Queen’s visit to Law School at Somerset House!), I hope you are ready for the challenge of our weekly meeting!
This week Lau China Institute PhD candidate Jie Li will talk about his research focusing on International Relations theory in Chinese context. We will also have a new person from European Studies Department joining us this week. Ka-Ho Yu’s research is focusing on China’s energy security and foreign policy.
I encourage you to participate in the meetings more actively. We’re on a good track to becoming the only China research group at King’s! Also, the aim for the next few months is for China Study Group to expand significantly and to become a formalised body, most likely affiliated with King’s College London Student Union. Would be great to have you on board for all that!
We meet this Thursday, 1 March at 2pm in China Reading Room (how to get there: http://www.kcl.ac.uk/aboutkings/worldwide/global/chinainstitute/Contactus.aspx).
See you on Thursday!
